About Nelson


Nelson Dane hails from the central Florida area. Spending most of his life in Florida, his influences include many musical styles, from Southern Rock, Swamp Rock, Tulsa Sound, and Trop Rock.

Nelson considers himself a songwriter first, and enjoys recording his music with longtime friend, lead guitarist, and producer Jeff Adkins (learn more here).

Music, and the arts were always important parts of Nelson's life. He studied acting under William Hickey at HB Studios in Greenwich Village NY, and fine arts at Ringling Art School in Sarasota FL., (his artwork adorns his album covers).

After seeking out his buddy Jeff to recharge his batteries on guitar, the summer of 2013 turned out to be a pivotal one. He decided to try his hand at songwriting, three albums later...He's still writing.

About Jeff Adkins
Producer / Musician




As producer, Jeff's artistry really shines through. Being friends for 25 years certainly contributed to the great mojo that can be heard across Nelson's albums. Jeff's expertise, professionalism, and musicianship on multiple instruments helped bring many tasty flavors to the mix.

His musical background, in addition to his college years studying jazz, developed many different styles, including rock, funk, country, blues, trop and southern rock.
